HELLO! I'M ABI.
I'm a Filipino illustrator specializing in children's books.
My journey in children's book illustration began in 2018, while I was working as a software engineer (still am!). With a degree in Information Technology and a lifelong creative itch, I kept creating after office hours and have since illustrated for both local and international clients.
I have a soft spot for odd characters and scenes that make ordinary life feel a little more quirky and fun.
When I’m not working on client projects, you’ll usually find me at home daydreaming, writing ideas, or taking care of my mini veggie garden.

I used to play with cardboard boxes when I was a kid. We lived in a house with a sari-sari store most of my childhood, so there were a lot of used cardboard boxes. I made different sorts of things, like a pencil case and a "video camera"!
