Hello! My name is Abigail Gabriel and I am a Filipino children’s book illustrator. My style is often described as cute and witty, probably because I enjoy creating quirky characters and scenarios from the ordinary.
​My career in children's book illustration started while I was working as a software engineer in 2018. Having received a degree in Information Technology, I continued to hone my craft through self-education and had been illustrating for both local and international clients.

When I am not doing client work, I enjoy being at home daydreaming while taking care of my mini veggie garden.
​
It is my ultimate dream to be an author-illustrator one day.

I used to play with cardboard boxes when I was a kid. We lived in a house with a sari-sari store most of my childhood, so there are a lot of used cardboard boxes. I made different sorts of things, like a pencil case and a "video camera"!​​
